Go Au Pair has an unique Bed and Breakfast program.
The Bed & Breakfast program offers to Au Pairs from Go Au Pair agency the opportunity to find a safe place to sleep for free and have a small breakfast when they are traveling. Many Host Families and Local Area Representatives joined the Bed and Breakfast program.
Au Pairs can see different parts of America without paying for expensive hotels. Many areas of the United States have Bed and Breakfast program participants who volunteer to host an Au Pair in their home. An Au Pair needs to contact a family at least one month in advance. An Au Pair may not get a private bedroom when she stays in someone’s home, but get a safe place to spend the night, or more, for free.
Many Au Pairs choose to travel inexpensively by taking advantage of this program. They usually travel during a 30 day grace period at the end of the Au Pair program. The grace period takes place at the end of the placement, not between first and second year. Au Pairs are responsible for buying an additional traveler’s insurance during their 30 days of travel. They are supposed to purchase it as an upgrade from Go Au Pair.
Happy traveling!

There are LARs in RI, MA, NJ and TX who have also offered to open their homes, plus about 20 other Host Families from AK to CO to WV to CA! I advise Au Pairs to take advantage of free overnight stays almost anywhere in the country. Just take the Megabus from state to state, for cheap money, and stay at as many free Go Au Pair Bed & Breakfast opportunities as possible! Happy travels!
