Count Your Blessings!

Everyone has a lot to be thankful for every day but on Thanksgiving Americans say an extra prayer of thanks. It’s important to “Count Your Blessings Not Your Problems” (Brianna Keenan).

Thanksgiving is a special day to acknowledge the things you appreciate. Especially this year. There’s never been a more important time to come together as a community and support families, neighbors and friends.

There are a lot of things to be thankful for:
Your Family
Your Host Family/Au Pair
Your Friends

Having Safety and Security
Being Able To Enjoy Nature
Health for yourself and those around you
Having Food To Eat
Having Shelter and a Roof Over Your Head
Having a Job

Having Freedom
Having Technology
In addition, the host families, and Au Pairs are all thankful for the Au Pair program and for Cultural Exchange!

Thanksgiving  is a great opportunity to recognize – “Count Your Blessings” and demonstrate the gratefulness to the Host Families,  Au Pairs, family and friends who make our days what they are. Happy Thanksgiving!
