Satisfied and comprehensive childcare

For many parents, finding satisfied and comprehensive childcare childcare can be stressful, especially if there is a need for a flexible schedule and affordable cost.  Even though, there are many childcare options available, many families choose the Au Pair Program for their childcare needs.

Au Pairs provide 45 hours (FT) or 30 hours (PT) of live in child care. Their duties can include: light housekeeping, children’s laundry, meal preparation, homework/tutoring help, organization, transportation, and much more. Some Au Pairs have experience with babies, infant multiples, and kids with special needs.

Many parents say that the Au Pair program is a satisfied and comprehensive childcare and a life saver!  “Go Au Pair has been a life saver! We have 4 children and daycare expense was out of the question! Having an au pair has given us the ability to be able to go to work worry free and at an affordable cost! Our current au pair has become part of our family! We will be sad when she returns home in February! But we are also excited to bring in another au pair to our family! We highly recommend go au pair and the service they provide!”

Go Au Pair agency has nearly 300 nannies au pairs available -Infant Qualified, First Aid and CPR Certified, able to drive, from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, males, females, doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, lawyers, students, coaches, dancers, soccer players, musicians…you name it, we probably have it! 2017 Au Pair in Excellence- Valentine, Au Pair from Bucks County, PA

Meet Valentine from France, 2017 Au Pair in Excellence! Read why her host family in Doleystown, Bucks County, PA nominated Valentine for an Au Pair of the Year award and how much of an impact she’s had on her family!Au pair Bucks County

“Valentine has touched our hearts forever and I honestly do not know how we could have gotten through these last few months without her in our lives. We want to nominate her for Au Pair of the Year!!!

I am a single, self-employed grandmother who has had custody of my two granddaughters- now 10 and 3 – for going on two years. I was almost forced to put them in foster care because I just did not think I could do it by myself anymore.

Then Valentine’s letter came-she was a 17 year old girl from France looking to become an Au pair in the US after she graduated and turned 18. We worked together with Go Au Pair, her parents and some of my supporting clients and were able to make it happen very quickly this past September. She has become our godsend.Valntine the best Au Pair of the year
My granddaughters love Valentine like a big sister. She is patient and kind and has taken on the role of big sister so well. She even helps do laundry, keeps me organized by putting together the outfits for a very opinionated 3 year old and is always doing fun things with the girls. Fun things like every Saturday taking a walk up to the local Farmers Market for home baked cookies and then to a friend’s restaurant for his natural juice concoctions.

Valentine helped me potty train the 3 year old and is my 10 year old’s best buddy who helps her with homework every night and is teaching her great study skills and organizational habits. She comes to the teacher conferences so she can be aware of what goes on in school. Sometimes she bakes goodies from France and shares the food from France that her parents send (we love the cheese and her grandmother’s home baked cookies)—her food always “tastes better” than what I prepare for the kids because it is Valentine’s special touch!

Valentine is my” fitbit” challenger—now that I can actually take time to exercise again—we have our little competition going—staying fit is important to both of us—ALL of us are constantly getting “our steps in”.

Valentine even came with us to Florida for her 1st US Thanksgiving and helped surprise my mom with a special 85th birthday party and keep the kids busy so we could make the surprise happen.cooking_together Valntine the best Au Pair of the year
Valentine made Christmas very special. She came up with the brilliant idea to take the 10 year old to her first concert—something I would not do (too old here)—but now my 10 year old granddaughter will be seeing Ariana Grande soon and is SO EXCITED-we wrapped the ticket in a box! Valentine has fit right in with all our little Christmas traditions—like baking a gazillion cookies (eating a lot too)- decorating the house, the tree, wrapping the gifts-and she shared some of her traditions with us, too. We did LOTS of shopping together—her family even sent a care package here for all of us. My family and friends have taken on Valentine like part of my family– BECAUSE SHE IS!Valentine is also a very independent and an awesome role model— she started college courses a week after she arrived, she has gone to NY on her own, down to Philadelphia and soon her entire family will be here to visit us. They plan to see Washington DC together and they will experience their first American barbeque here with all “our” friends and family-2 families and countries bonding together!!

We feel like Valentine has always been in our lives and she will ALWAYS be a part of our family—she is “THE BEST” and is truly deserving of being awarded Au Pair of the Year—she is definitely our Au Pair of the year for our little family. Having an Au Pair has made a BIG, positive difference in our lives!!”

New au pair from Brazil: Nadia

Welcome to the cluster Nadia Souza! She is 20, going to live in New Hope, Bucks County! Her friend is Valentine.

She chose to be an Au Pair, because she knows that through this program she will have a wonderful intercultural experience.

“I am going to be with kids what is perfect ’cause I love them, of course I am going to improve my English and I know I will have new and good friends.”

Her favorite hobbies are reading books – she really loves that, watching sitcoms and cuting hairs.15909326_820044464800729_1397386545_o

She thinks, that it was very special, that she could spend Christman and New Year’s Eve with her family and boyfriend.

She says, that it’s  quite difficult to her to define herself, but she can say, that she is a good friend, an honest and a little bit anxious person. She is a very good driver and also, can learn how to do things very easily.

I wants to visit a lot of places, but the one that she most wants to visit is California. 15857480_820044991467343_546810276_oI hope, I can meet you soon Nadia! Enjoy every moment here! ♥

Free English classes and resourses for the Au Pairs.

The Au Pair program is known abroad as the “Learn and Earn”program. The Au Pairs can learn the experience, American culture, polish their English and also can earn money.

Many Au Pairs came to the US with the goal to improve English. Living with American family is the best way for Au Pairs to improve their English skills. Working with kids and practicing English skills with them has huge advantages. Depending on their ages, kids can be great teachers. Kids words and sentences are often simpler than that of adults. Children are usually can correct errors without making Au Pairs feel uncomfortable. Au Pairs and kids can learn from each other reading and playing together.Au pair and kids

Here are a lot of opprtunities to learn English for free. For example, free English classes in the Philadelphia area
FLP – English as a Second Language (ESL)
Meet up classes
Community Learning Center
Phila Literacy

Au Pairs can find free online language learning resources, take language exchange classes online with English Lessons & Tutors Online – LRNGO. Some Au Pairs found language exchange options with American students or future ESL teacher. Au pair in the college

Au Pairs get a chance exploring the country, attending classes and immersing themself in the English language. Au Pairs also have an opportunity studied in America for free. They are supposed to take 6 credits or 72 class hours in college during the program year. Many Au Pairs take an ESL (English as a Second Language) class as part of their educational requirement.Go Au Pair volunteer 2016 ISF 8

Beside speaking English at home, Au Pairs practice English for daily life in an English-speaking country –with new friends, in the stores, restaurants etc. The Au Pairs also can travel, volunteer for the community and meet new people.

Enjoying more information about Adriana Evechis

Some days ago, you could read an interview about our experienced au pair from Ecuador. Today you can all learn some more information about Adriana!

What is your favorite thing about being an au pair?

The best is the love we get from kids!!!! Learning together and can be like a mother of these little monsters!

What do you like about being an au pair in America, with Go Au Pair?

Since I began this program as an au pair, the coordinators and representatives have been so kind with me! Shona, Gina, Crystal and Polina have guided and helped me from the beginning, during the rematch process and now here in Philadelphia. In conclusion, I liked to meet them in this new adventure, feeled safe. I could trust them.14339388_1817212768523721_1182787001_oWhat is the most valuable lesson you have learned that being an au pair has taught you?

The best lesson you get being an au pair is bravery, courage and ability to do things on your own. No matter how old you are, just being an au pair makes you grow up in every way.

How do you like the experience being a part of an American family?

Living with your host family is a unique experience, because they will  your support here. I had lucky to feel companionship and freedom at the same time. I could be part of their daily routine, your leisure time going to different places and having a good talk with them. However, in my spare time, I could share time with friends, visited new places and did my favorite activities like taking pictures and reading.

Thank you Adriana for the great deal of information! Looking forward to meet you! ♥
