Nature walk

Nature walk can be done at any park with a lot of trees, so you can go with your children and have fun collecting leaves of different colors and sizes, at the same time you can explore new places with them! Its recommended to do it in the middle of fall, either at the end of October or at the beginning of November. That sounds good!

Draw in the side walk chalk

Since the weather is getting cooler and cooler draw in the sidewalk is a good idea to spend time with your host kids! lets try it, that would be awesome!

Take them to story time to your local library!

There are many libraries that in fall schedule story time for children, so you can go with them and the librarian reads books and they also do some crafts! I am completely sure your kids will be happy attending to the story time with you!

Write letters to their love ones (walk to the post office)

Most of the kids have cousins and they love to write letters, so it is also a great idea to help them write some letters and walk to the post office with them to send the letters!!

As you can see in fall you can do many activities with your host kids!!

Welcome to the cluster, Seba!

It is very exciting to have another male au pair in our cluster! Seba is 22 years old, he is from Argentina. It is my pleasure to share some information with you about him.

“I wanted to be an au pair, because I love spending time with kids and traveling. As I am studying to be an English teacher I had always been close to kids and I always loved spending time with them. I never thought there would be an exchange program that would allow me to do this. I am happy for the chanse to be an au pair!20050172_1746686528680212_1862162998_o

I don’t really have a hobbie. I like doing different stuff, for example going for a run, going to the gym are some of them. I enjoy watching movies and listening to music. I also like going out with friends and have a nice meal together.

My wish would be to stop hunger from all over the World.
I would love to visit New York City. It has always been my dream walking in Central Park and getting a hot dog in the street!
On Saturdays I like going out with friends to different places (theater, camp, traveling near my home area, etc) or sometimes we have a meal with my family. 20106879_1746672335348298_1482321955_o
The best complement I had ever received was:
“Never let people get you down. Don’t let them say you can’t do anything. You are an amazing guy and you can do what ever you want”
19859027_1746688785346653_1785164420_o.jpg
I am creative. Since I was a kid I have always loved creating things like a small city on the table with boxes and books and play with my little sister. We also filmed videos acting as if we were in a movie. I edited them and played them on my TV screen. I also enjoy teaching. I like showing people my skills. But I also love learning new things”
Thank you, Sebastian for your answers! I hope, that you will be able to visit New York and a lot of other places! ♥

Saying goodbye to Au Pair Lucas from Brazil.

Last year one of the Go Au Pair host families invited a male Au Pair to join their family with five kids. They had nine female Au Pairs before. Lucas is the first male Au Pair that family has had. Lucas built special connections with all four boys and especially, with the youngest twins. The boys accepted Lucas as a big brother! Thank you so much for being a great Au Pair and being a wonderful role model for the boys!au-pair-bucks-county-bowling-5

Lucas also learned a lot through the Au Pair program, explored the USA, made many friends and even became a buddy for Jessica.

I can’t believe that Lucas is leaving next week. As you may know we interview our Au Pairs when they arrive and before they leave the Au Pair Program. Here is Lucas interview.au-pair-farewell-picnic-independence-national-historical-park-lucas

What was your favorite way to spend your free time in the USA? Playing Basketball and Football
What is your favorite thing about being an au pair? Knowing another culture.
