Consider Hosting a Male Au Pair.

Many host families prefer male Au Pairs because they are usually easy going, more flexible and practical and willing to do more of the housework. Kids love male Au Pairs because they are creative with game and activities, love sports and spend time outside, camping, cycling, playing with the kids.

Consider Hendry, 20 year old Au pair from South Africa. Hendry already worked as an Au pair in China, “I have lived in China for a while where I was a tutor to children. I loved every moment.”

“I started working in China as an English teacher four months after I graduated. I
first had to do a TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course before I
could teach so I completed it and received an A grading. We used games to teach
the children so they are entertained during the lessons. The children were
between the ages of three and eleven so I also had to keep an eye on them the
whole time during the lessons, breaks and lunch times. I learned a lot about their
culture and traditions and I enjoyed the experience very much.”

When I returned home I took on two part time jobs. In the morning I worked at a
daycare center named Wielie Walie where I worked with babies between the ages
of 3 and 24 months. During this time I had to change diapers, bathe them, feed
them, give them medicine, play games with them and I also had to potty train a
child. In the afternoon I worked at an after care center where I had to supervise
over the children and help them with homework and studying. They were
between the ages of ten and thirteen. hendry

I have a lot of experience working with children from all ages including babes. I was an English teacher in China last year so my English is excellent and I lived in another country before. I’m currently transporting children to school and their after school activities everyday so I’m also a very good driver. I am responsible, hard working, mature, honest, energetic and most importantly very good with children. I enjoy to cook, read, working out, cycling, being outdoors and to travel.
I would love to become a part of your family and be an older brother for your children. I would also like doing various activities with them like playing in the park, going to the library, baking and also to look after them”.

Hendry is looking for a host family in Pennsylvania state, if possibly in or near Philadelphia.

In Addition, Go Au Pair is offering an exclusive discount for Host Families living in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. With this discount and promotion, the average cost of an Au Pair is only $345 a week or only $7.66 an hour!

Go Au Pair gave me the opportunity to come but Philadelphia cluster made my experience unique!!Au Pair farewell picnic Independence National Historical Park 2
My best experience is being a part of the family and feel like you are another family member, see the kids growing up every day and learn from them. Some new things I’ve experienced are being more outgoing! The Au Pair Program gave me the opportunity to be a better human being and find myself, be more patient and most of all, love from the button of my heart – that is something than I will never forget!Gene
I do like the experience with an American family because they have taught me about their culture, their food and the most important thing, the language!
I will recommend this experience to all young people who wants to come and find themselves, traveling, learn the language, enjoy life next to a kid!!!
From the bottom of our hearts we wish you the best back in your country, dear Patricia Gudino!

Nature walk

Nature walk can be done at any park with a lot of trees, so you can go with your children and have fun collecting leaves of different colors and sizes, at the same time you can explore new places with them! Its recommended to do it in the middle of fall, either at the end of October or at the beginning of November. That sounds good!

Draw in the side walk chalk

Since the weather is getting cooler and cooler draw in the sidewalk is a good idea to spend time with your host kids! lets try it, that would be awesome!

Take them to story time to your local library!

There are many libraries that in fall schedule story time for children, so you can go with them and the librarian reads books and they also do some crafts! I am completely sure your kids will be happy attending to the story time with you!

Write letters to their love ones (walk to the post office)

Most of the kids have cousins and they love to write letters, so it is also a great idea to help them write some letters and walk to the post office with them to send the letters!!

As you can see in fall you can do many activities with your host kids!!
