Welcome to our cluster Genesis Schnabel!

Almost the beginning of Spring and I am glad that our cluster is getting bigger and bigger! Today I want to welcome one of the new members! her name is Genesis Schnabel, she is from Ecuador and she is 20 years old. Genesis was so kind to tell us more about herself, so you guys get to know more about her:

  1. Why do you want to be an Au Pair? Well i thought that this was my chance to do what i like the most which is take care of kids and at the same time I could travel and meet new people.
  2. Can you tell us what are your hobbies and interests? I really like to spend my time with my friends and of course travel.53142889_264935374408454_5553202137439141888_n

3 .What three adjectives describe you best? friendly, optimistic and adventurous.

 4. What place would you like to visit? I would like to know a little bit more about New York and some  places of Philadelphia

5.What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday? Going to the movies with some friends.

6. What was the best complement you received? I am like the sunshine

8.What has been your best experience living in the United States? Visiting Chicago with my friends! That was an unforgettable experience!

25 years the Au Pair program in America

In 1989, the Au Pair Program was officially enacted in the US. Go Au Pair team volunteered in Philadelphia Since then, the Au Pairs get a chance to learn about life in the U.S while helping families with childcare. Thousands Au Pairs  have gotten to participate in this wonderful cultural exchange opportunity. They got to explore the country, attend classes and immerse themselves in the English language. Learn more.  The program became very popular among Host Families.  About 14,000 foreigners coming to the US every year to work as Au Pairs. I like my aupair During the last 25 years, young people from around the world got the opportunity to work, study and travel in America. With the J1 visa,  Au Pairs get a chance to live with an American Host Family, speak English, be able to study in an American University and volunteere with friends. With 25 years of experience, Go Au Pair is one of the oldest and most experienced Au Pair programs. Beginning as a nanny company in 1987, Go Au Pair soon expanded to include Au Pairs and was one of the original Au Pair program sponsors designated by the Department of State in 1989.Co Au Pair

In country Au Pairs – Transition and Extension.

In country Au Pairs are currently residing within the United States and working as an Au Pair for an American Host Family. Go Au Pair agency has many Au Pairs who are currently in a rematch and are looking for a new family. 

Au Pair Bucks County

There are two types of in country Au Pairs:
Transition Au Pairs, who are ending their current placement early and are looking to rematch with a new family. They are typically available to start with a new family in two weeks or less.
Extension transfer Au Pairs has been working  in America almost a year, and wishing to continue with another family. They are available in a few months for another placement. Extension Au Pairs are about to successfully complete a year with another host family and will be a second year Au Pairs in America.

Extension Au Pairs wish to transfer to a new family and usually to another part of the US after completing their first placement.  

Transition Au Pairs are normally available sooner than extension Au Pairs. You can read more about the difference between Transition and Extension Au Pairs.
