Go Au Pair gave me the opportunity to come but Philadelphia cluster made my experience unique!!

I take great pleasure in providing daily, ongoing, local support to both Host Families and Au Pairs in Philadelphia and suburban, Montgomery, Bucks County and close NJ

Hi everyone! Its your Ukrainian Au Pair Mariia Bilous and today I would like to share about my host family. If you read Ukrainian Au Pair story and Follow my dreams you may know already that I live in a beautiful part of America – Bucks County, PA, near Philadelphia with my host family. I have an incredible family of an amazing strong woman – my host mom Alla Gerzon, and two cute princesses Mariella and Elianna and a lovely dog with a very beautiful name Baila (it means dance in Spanish).
My host mom Alla is like my sister. She is a young and very friendly person, who always helps me to explore American culture, and is always by my side and taught me a lot of new things. Please read the nomination essay about my amazing host family to the Host Family in Excellence Award.
My host kids Mariella and Eliana stole my heart! At bedtime, after reading them fairytales, I have to kiss and give them hugs over 10 times, because they are so cute and I love them so very much!
They are very smart and creative girls, and they can speak 2 languages (English and Russian). I always have fun with them!
We like to do a lot of different activities together like swimming, singing, dancing, doing art projects, cooking classes, and telling each other funny stories.
Alla and the kids made me feel like a part of their family, brought happiness into my life, and helped me to explore America and enjoy the cultural exchange with the Au Pair program! I am very lucky to be a part of the Gerzon family – they’re everything I hoped for.

I am glad that I have a lot of nice Au Pair friends near Philadelphia. One of them is the Au Pair Adriana, who lives in Bucks County, PA.
This Saturday, her host family invited me to Peddler’s Village with them.
The first time I met Adriana’s host family was at a Family Day Conference. Thanks my Local Area Representative Polina so much, she organized a lot of interesting activities for us and gave us a lot of opportunities to know new friends.
At Friday night, Adriana’s host dad picked me up from the train station. The second day, I went to Peddler’s Village with Adriana’s host children and host mom. Her host kids are so cute and smart, they speak both English and Chinese! This is really a very loving host family.
We had a great time with the kids in the village. Many scarecrows that were created for Halloween did make us laugh a lot. Everyone is looking forward to the coming of Halloween.
In the afternoon, Adriana’s host mom drove us to the train station, then we go back to my home together. My host family invited Adriana to have dinner with us. My host parents always cook very delicious food. I am sure Adriana can tell you more about this now.
