My best experience is being a part of the family and feel like you are another family member, see the kids growing up every day and learn from them. Some new things I’ve experienced are being more outgoing! The Au Pair Program gave me the opportunity to be a better human being and find myself, be more patient and most of all, love from the button of my heart – that is something than I will never forget!Gene
I do like the experience with an American family because they have taught me about their culture, their food and the most important thing, the language!
I will recommend this experience to all young people who wants to come and find themselves, traveling, learn the language, enjoy life next to a kid!!!
From the bottom of our hearts we wish you the best back in your country, dear Patricia Gudino!

I am grateful for the amazing host family I have.

Arminda, Au Pair from El Salvador, who joined Go Au Pair cluster in Philadelphia only a few months ago said that her host family changed her life.  Thank you for sharing with us about your amazing family, Mindy.Be our Au Pair

I am grateful for the amazing family that I have here even we do not have the same blood, they treat me as a real member of their family – with love and respect all the time. We spend a lot time together and we enjoy discovering new things from each other.Au Pair from Philly 4

Let me tell you that before I came to the US they asked what I wanted to study and they helped me to find the course that I was looking for in the Montgomery College (English Grammar course.)  After two weeks of my arrival I was taking the course there. That is awesome! Even though they were busy with three boys and their jobs, they still had time for me before I came.Au Pair and host family

I would like to mention that my host dad works at home in his office, at noon we have lunch together, he takes a couple of breaks to play with us in the playing room- so they boys and I have fun! I can not forget to say that my host family makes me feel comfortable with them and with myself, I am not afraid to say what I like and what I do not like in any particular conversation. Well, during the week after dinner on Wednesdays and Fridays we watch movies or we play board game (The Settlers of Catan it is our favorite game) eating popcorn or ice cream and drinking soda and the boys asleep.Au Pair from Philly 1

My family is not only nice with me but also with my best friend Anita from Colombia, she is an au pair too and she lives close to my house in Glenside. Anita likes to spend weekends in my home with my family. They say she is always welcome to stay with us. Most of the time after dinner we play cards or board games with my host parents; definitely we have a good time when we are together.Au Pair from Philly 5

If could wish something I would like the others au pairs have a family like mine that support, that listen and the most important thing is that they see me as a member of their family!Au Pair from Philly 2

I remember at the beginning of July we were going to travel to Manassas and in the road they would drop me at my uncle’s house who lives in Woodbridge but at the end they had many things running at the same time and they could not do it, so they cancelled the trip and as a surprise they bought me the tickets! I was so happy and blessed for having a family like them.Au Pair from Philly 3

Mindy said,”They made me feel at home since the first day I came to their house”

Thanks to Mindy’s host family who made Mindy a part of their family!
