The Go Au Pair family.

Go Au Pair agency constantly supports the agency’s Au Pairs through their experience. There are many experts in Go Au Pair team or Go Au Pair family who provide the personalized assistance and mentor our Au Pairs.

A special support from Au Pair Sis Janine helps Au Pairs from Go Au Pair feel that they are not alone in the USA. Janine, the Local Area Representative from the New Jersey, became a big Sister to many Au Pairs from Go Au Pair.

Even before their arriving, Au Pair Sis reaches many Au Pairs and helps them connect with a big Go Au Pair family on Facebook. Au Pair Sis posts on Au Pair Sis Facebook interesting information, fun stuff and activities for the Au Pairs all the time. Au Pair Sis

Go Au Pair team helps the Au Pairs learn about the Au Pair program, prepare to the journey and find the answers to their questions. The Au Pairs can do that by watching Au Pair Sis’s videos about Au Pair experience and cultural différence, reading very informative Au Pair Sis blog on the Go Au Pair website. Au Pair Success Coordinator provides regular support to all Au Pairs during the program year.

There is also a consistent local support from a Local Area Representative (LAR) and other Au Pairs from the area. The local support includes help from a cluster Au Pairs that is also a closed group on facebook, the Au Pairs Buddy program and the cultural exchange activities. LAR helps connect new Au Pairs with other Au Pairs in the area, keeps consistent communication with Au Pairs and helps them to get the best experience.Bucks County Au Pair meeting

The Go Au Pair family provides constant support, encourage, help to succeed and have a great experience in the US.

Buddy Appreciation Month

Girls, it’s time to pull out the BUDDY in each and everyone of us. Alright, alright, Christmas is over but Buddy from Elf is still awesome. Buddy’s excitement and plans are basically self explanatory. This is how we should act when we sign up to be another au pairs buddy, since we’re taking responsibility to be that new au pairs ‘best friend’.

If you still aren’t sure what is means to be a buddy, check out Polina’s article: Au Pairs Buddy or Lilla’s post: Are you a good buddy?

(Also, welcome to the blog Lilla, can’t wait to read more of your articles!)

Okay, so the Au Pair Buddy program started in March 2014 thanks to one of the coolest people I know Cosima Kunz – the Au Pair from Germany, not only is she amazing because she always allows me to have shotgun in her car and makes the funniest faces, but she is a true friend with a heart of gold.

I asked Cosima why she wanted to be a buddy again to two new Australian au pairs (Kiah and Amber) and here’s her answer: “Because I know that it’s important to have a helping hand in the beginning. Everything is new to you and you feel kind of lost at some point. And then it’s great to have a person who’s there for you. I’m happy to be that person! And on top it’s an awesome way to gain new friends!”

Thank you Cosima. It’s inspiring to see how friendships develop between two or more complete strangers. I remember when I arrived here in the US, everything was still new and frantically, scary. But when I met the rest of the au pairs, they all took me under their wings. Thank each and everyone of you – You girls are AWESOME.

Our Au Pairs are doing many interesting things during their Au Pair year in addition to exploring American culture like volunteering, helping the community and even writing Au Pair diary and supporting the Philadelphia Au Pair mission group.Au Pairs Bucks County volunteers 6

Go Au Pair’s Au Pairs have been named  “Best in the World” by International Au Pair Association. We have many happy Au Pairs and happy Host Families. Au Pairs Buddy

A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.  ~Douglas Pagels

There are a lot of what to learn when a new Au Pair comes to the US.  A new Au Pair needs special attention, extra support and constant help during her first weeks. As a Local Area Representative I am always available to help.  Go Au Pair  also has an Au Pair Sis support program, and we have the cluster Au Pair face book support group.

It is very important for the Au Pair to make Au Pair friends as soon as possible. Au Pairs have tons of things in common and a lot of experiences that they can share. There is a new ongoing initiative for each new Au Pair from the Philadelphia, Bucks County and NJ cluster- a new Au Pair will have an Au Pair Buddy, a supportive Au Pair friend even before her arriving to the US.

Au Pair friendsThe responsibilities of the Au Pairs Buddy are contacting a new Au Pair prior to her arriving through email or facebook, welcoming her, answering her questions, planing a meeting within the first week. The Buddy should meet the new Au Pair soon after arrival for a face to face connection and introduce her to a few exciting things they can do in the area.  Also, the current au pairs  may help them with school recommendation and general au pair questions. The Buddy will continue to be a good support throughout her stay. It is the best way to make true friends for life.

Other cluster in the Minneapolis area has had this support program for a long time and Au Pairs love being a buddy, some of them even became buddies to 4-5 new Au Pairs at a time. I will try to match each new Au Pair  with Au Pairs  from their home country, someone around their same age or location of their host families.

The definition from the of a ” bud·dy”  (bŭd′ē)  is  a good friend; a comrade, a  partner. I hope that new Au Pairs will be able to adjust to a new life quicker since they will have a buddy.  Lend a hand- become a buddy for a new Au Pair.

thank you buddy

Being a Buddy to a new Au Pair is one of the best things you can be.
