Au Pairs favorite meeting -volunteering in the USA!

This year we are going to volunteer again for the International Spring Festival for the fifth time! However, for many Au Pairs volunteering will be a first-time experience.

Many Au Pairs from the Bucks County and Philadelphia area cluster chose to volunteer and help the community while being Au pairs with Go Au Pair. Au Pairs are very enthusiastic and motivated to make a difference in another’s life.  Instead of taking the easy roads, spending time for their pleasure, many Au Pairs had chosen to volunteer their time and skills while they are in the USA.

This year Au Pairs are volunteering face painting, twisting balloons,  making crafts with kids, and etc.  They are looking forward to entertaining the kids. However, the festival is interesting for the entire family. The address is North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, 19446, and the hours are from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.  The event is free.

The Go Au Pair agency will support our team by providing the supplies. Au Pairs not only volunteer, but also a few Au Pairs will perform on the stage! You can see their dances, listen the songs and musical performances.

The Festival features multi-cultural exhibits and vendors, food tasting, and fabulous performances of dance and music. Many Au Pairs said that exploring the festival and volunteering for the community was their favorite meeting. <3.

Please join the International Spring Festival and a Host Family Day Conference on Saturday, April 18th , 2020. If you want to meet other families and learn about the Au Pair program from their experience, please come to the Go Au Pair table at 1:00 pm.

I chose to see the Washington Monument as well as the Holocaust Museum, both free attractions. This trip was absolutely once in a lifetime and I could not recommend it enough!” Read more about the trip to Washington, DC from Kiah post.GoAuPair_Kiah5

The Au Pair program provides the Au Pairs with various cultural exchange opportunities. They can immerse in American life, explore the country, attend classes in an American college, volunteer, and even play soccer with an American team. Au Pairs fundraising in Bucks County.

Last week the Au Pairs from the Bucks County and Philadelphia cluster hosted a big fundraising event to support the Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Many Au Pairs, and Host families got together at Core Creek Park in Bucks County for BBQ, fun and fundraising.

There were a lot of kids and many Au Pairs to take care of them, so parents could relax and have fun as well.Au Pairs in Bucks County

The goal of that event was to have fun and to fundraise. We succeeded in both. The Core Creek park was the a perfect location, the weather was excellent, and the most important – there was an excitement in the air. Maybe it’s because the Au Pairs and Host families made the event special.  Au Pairs Bucks County Fundraisng

Many families brought tasty food and we had a BBQ.  There were many games for the kids and adults. We had so much fun together, played many games with the coins that went to fundraising after that. We raised a lot of money, more than a previous time. Every penny was counted.

There was a lot of excitement at the event. Everyone had a lot of fun, earned prizes and great memories. Special thanks to  Au Pairs Monica,  Cosima and Nita who led the games.

Then we enjoyed cosplay girls and guy sang Japanese songs. It’s full of power in their voices. After the singing, we enjoyed a great Cosplay Fashion Show. Au Pair friends

It was my first time seeing a show like this.
