Au Pairs favorite meeting -volunteering in the USA!

This year we are going to volunteer again for the International Spring Festival for the fifth time! However, for many Au Pairs volunteering will be a first-time experience.

Many Au Pairs from the Bucks County and Philadelphia area cluster chose to volunteer and help the community while being Au pairs with Go Au Pair. Au Pairs are very enthusiastic and motivated to make a difference in another’s life.  Instead of taking the easy roads, spending time for their pleasure, many Au Pairs had chosen to volunteer their time and skills while they are in the USA.

This year Au Pairs are volunteering face painting, twisting balloons,  making crafts with kids, and etc.  They are looking forward to entertaining the kids. However, the festival is interesting for the entire family. The address is North Penn High School, 1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, 19446, and the hours are from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.  The event is free.

The Go Au Pair agency will support our team by providing the supplies. Au Pairs not only volunteer, but also a few Au Pairs will perform on the stage! You can see their dances, listen the songs and musical performances.

The Festival features multi-cultural exhibits and vendors, food tasting, and fabulous performances of dance and music. Many Au Pairs said that exploring the festival and volunteering for the community was their favorite meeting. <3.

Au Pairs volunteering for the International Festival in Philadelphia

Au Pairs from a Go Au Pair cluster in Philadelphia have been supporting the International Spring Festival for 5 years. We had such a great experience – the festival committee is talking highly about previous Au Pair volunteers!  Many Au Pairs said that volunteering for ISF was their favorite meeting. <3. The Festival features multi-cultural exhibits and vendors, food tasting, and fabulous performances of dance and music.

This year, 17 Au Pairs signed up to volunteer for the International Spring Festival (ISF). The Festival will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019  at  the North Penn High School,  1340 Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.

There are also many other things at the festival for the Au Pairs to enjoy – more than 30 countries will be represented by other volunteers. Perhaps Au Pairs can speak with other volunteers from their native country, eat the home country dishes, or watch special cultural performances.  http://www.isfconnect.org/host-the-festival/

The most fun part will be meeting Au Pairs from 12 countries, making friends, sharing things about your culture, learning about others and volunteering your talent and skills together with other Au Pairs and the US volunteers. It is a great cultural exchange experience, which is a goal of the Au Pair program.We are going to distribute balloons, volunteer doing face painting, making crafts with kids, etc. Thank you Go Au Pair agency for supporting our team and providing the supplies. Autism speaks- the puzzle pieces

The puzzle piece represents Autism and was designed to raise awareness about autism. I think the puzzle also symbolizes our community, and the pieces symbolize the people who get together and piece by piece create the unity and support.
Many Au Pairs from Philadelphia, Bucks County and NJ joined Go Au Pair Team and helped fundraise for Autism Speaks.  Together we can do a lot of good things.Au Pairs from our Go Au Pair Philadelphia, Bucks County and NJ cluster came from many countries and they are much more than just nannies. They are young, active, love children and want to change the future of the kids, this time the future of the kids who struggle with Autism.The team hosted three fundraising events for Autism Speaks in Philadelphia, Langhorne and New Hope and raised more than$700..Volunteering for Autism Speaks is a special opportunity to make a difference in kids life. That is also a life changing experience for the Au Pairs. Go Au Pair agency helps their Au Pairs have the best cultural exchange experience during the Au Pair program.Many Au Pairs may become ambassadors when return back home. They spread their experience of volunteering and all together we may solve the Puzzle of Autism.
