Farewell to Patricia Gudino!

Au Pair from Ecuador Patricia or Gene has been the Au Pair for the host family with 8 kids from Bucks County for her first year and the Au Pair for the family with 3 toddlers for the family from Philadelphia for her second year. Patricia will be leaving the country pretty soon and she sent me long and interesting statements about her Au Pair experience. Patricia is on the right smiling as usual.Go Au Pair volunteer 2016 ISF 13
I am sure we will always remember Patricia!  I am convinced she is going to enjoy her time with her family in Ecuador! Lets see some of her answers:

Go Au Pair gave me the opportunity to come but Philadelphia cluster made my experience unique!!Au Pair farewell picnic Independence National Historical Park 2
My best experience is being a part of the family and feel like you are another family member, see the kids growing up every day and learn from them. Some new things I’ve experienced are being more outgoing! The Au Pair Program gave me the opportunity to be a better human being and find myself, be more patient and most of all, love from the button of my heart – that is something than I will never forget!Gene
I do like the experience with an American family because they have taught me about their culture, their food and the most important thing, the language!
I will recommend this experience to all young people who wants to come and find themselves, traveling, learn the language, enjoy life next to a kid!!!
From the bottom of our hearts we wish you the best back in your country, dear Patricia Gudino!

Welcome our new au pair: Alejandra

Alejandra Tapia Mosquera is from Ecuador and arriving today! I was wondering, how nice and high-hearted au pairs we will have…It is amazing! Let’s see what I was talking about:

She likes volunteering at animal shelters, but she also likes to do other things like jogging in the morning at the gym, swimming and playing basketball, or she usually stays with her mom and go shopping.

She loves singing and dancing and going out with her friends to travel and visit new places.

She says, she is a positive, charitable and happy person.

If she had a wish, she would have a shelter and a hospital for stray animals, victims of abuse. (I love that idea! )15967145_10209649904016847_188315849_o

She would like to visit the Greek Islands.

On the weekends, she likes to go out in the morning for a walk, then cook a rich meal with her  family and after that going out to stroll a place that has not visited before.

She says, that she considers herself as a good  singer. She also could be the best person to talk to, if anybody needs help.

I am very happy that such a good person is joining to our cluster! Have a wonderful year! ♥

I also learnt to how to do a puppy and a hat with the twisted balloons. I also did a flower for the kids.Go Au Pair volunteer 2016 ISF 6

The activity was so meaningful for me because I learnt lots of things that I never did before. I loved volunteering, even though, I was so tired when it’s done. I  also liked the festival – I liked the countries displays and the dance performances.”Go Au Pair volunteer 2016 ISF 4

It was a valuable cultural exchange experience meeting many people, helping others, learn from others and having fun as well.
