Welcoming a new Au Pair from Colombia

We are looking forward to meeting the newest member of Go Au Pair cluster in the Philadelphia and Bucks County area Karen. Karen is a 25-year-old Au Pair from Colombia. She will live with a loving host family with a little boy in Philadelphia.Au Pair from Colombia Karen 2 Karen will be replacing a wonderful Au Pair Cherry who is going home after two amazing Au Pair years with her forever family in the USA.

Karen considers herself a very happy and active person, as well as a responsible person dedicated to work. Karen obtained her degree in Marketing & International Business two years ago and worked at the marketing departments of some of the most prestigious companies in Colombia. Au Pair from Colombia Karen

Karen decided to become an Au Pair because she likes children, wants to improve her English and to learn about American culture. Kim, Au Pair from South Africa kindly offered to be Karen buddy,  her help and support. Thank you, Kim.

Here are the questions we asked Karen.

What are your talents, hobbies and interests? I´m a good dancer, especially I like to dance latin music like salsa and merengue. My hobbies are traveling, preaching and shopping.

What are two things that you consider yourself to be very good at?
I consider myself extremely joyful and I have a good sense of humor. I am very active and curious and I like to do different things always.

What place would you like to visit?
I would like to visit NY city, California and the Florida Parks, Universal studios, Busch Garden and Disney parks. Also, I would like to know the snow and learn to ski.

We will walk as the Go Au Pair team to raise funds for the Autism care.  We also will walk to raise awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder. We will share the Autism Speaks message and spread the world.
