Volunteering for a cause and cultural exchange.

People volunteer for a variety of reasons, often because they want to help others and give something back to the community. They receive some benefits for themselves from volunteering as well.

I think that volunteering is not only an exchange of services, but also, an opportunity to interact with a group of people from around the world. It is a part of the cultural exchange and the goal of the Au Pair program.

A group of the Au Pairs from Go Au Pair is going to volunteer at the Philadelphia Marathon and help raise funds for the American Cancer Society. There is a huge cultural diversity in the Au Pair volunteering team: Brazilian Au PairsChinese Au PairsColombian Au PairsSalvadorian Au Pairs,  Ecuadorian Au PairsGerman  Au Pairs, Panamanian Au PairsSouth African Au PairsMexican Au PairsFrench Au Pairs, Spain Au Pairs, and Cameroonian Au Pair.

The international exchange is one of the many benefits of the Au Pair program. It gives Au Pairs a chance to meet other people and learn from people with diverse life experiences.

Volunteering is  a special opportunity. It may be a life changing experience for the Au Pairs,  and many of them may become ambassadors. The Au Pairs will return back home, share with others and spread their experience of volunteering for the cause  all over the globe.Au Pairs countries

Go Au Pair agency helps their Au Pairs have the best cultural exchange experience during the Au Pair program. Check the Au Pairs activities and read the Go Au Pair agency blog.

What does the Au Pair program teach the kids?

The Au Pair  program promotes cultural exchange and make a difference in the lives of children. Go Au Pair recruits Au Pairs from over 60 different countries. Right now there are Brazilian Au PairsChinese Au PairsColombian Au PairsSalvadorian Au PairsEcuadorian Au PairsPanamanian Au PairsSouth African Au PairsMexican Au Pairs, Cameroonian Au Pair  in the Philadelphia , NJ cluster.

The Au Pair offers an opportunity to learn a new language, culture and make friends all over the world.  Here are even  more benefits that the Au Pair program gives to the kids.

The Au Pairs program teaches kids to respect cultural diversity. Many Au Pairs follow a different set of norms and behaviors.  Kids learn to respect their differences,  welcome them and be flexible.

The Au Pairs program teaches kids to accept the differences. Au Pairs help them to learn about  different  customs and traditions and appreciate those differences.

The Au Pair program teaches kids the tolerance and mutual understanding. Kids will be more likely to embrace differences and see the value in others.

The Au Pairs program teaches the kids many things that help their personal growth and becoming a responsible citizen of the world.

Are we different?

The Au Pair program is an opportunity to explore an American culture. Au Pairs enjoy the cultural  experience of  living with an American Host Family, and being able to study in an American University. But they also get a lot of cultural experience.

One of the greatest benefits of the Au Pair program is meeting new friends around the world and exploring different cultures.

Go Au Pair recruits Au Pairs from over 60 different countries. Right now I have  Brazilian Au Pairs, Chinese Au Pairs, Colombian Au Pairs, Salvadorian Au Pairs, Ecuadorian Au Pairs, Panamanian Au PairsSouth African Au Pairs, Ukrainian Au Pairs, Cameroonian Au Pairs in my cluster.

It is great that we all brought together by the best Au Pair agency and fantastic Au Pair program.

Are we different?

First of all, we all are similar -we all are friends and Au Pairs from Go Au Pair cluster in the Philadelphia and NJ area. We all share a lot of common: we participate at Au Pair program and have the Form DS-2019 and the J-1 Visa. We all have childcare experience and love kids. We all have the same desire working as an Au Pair in America and and interests of exploring the world. We have the same needs and we do a lot of things together like one big family.

Second, we all are different. We speak different languages, we have different colored skin and heritage, we follow to a different set of norms and behaviors, we practice different culture and religions.

Yes, we are very different people!  That is a benefit because being different further our own personal growth and expanding our world view. When Au Pairs meet these differences they learn the respect to other cultures. Also Au Pairs have an opportunity to learn about many cultures around the world and the values of tolerance and mutual understanding.

An Au Pairs program teaches Au Pairs to be open minds and hearts to other people and cultures and be responsible citizens of the world!
