One more amazing au pair joining us in October! Welcome, Jessica!

A new great au pair is joining our friendly Philadelphia au pair cluster –  Jessica Rocha from Brazil. She is 22 and she will live in Pennsylvania. In order to get to know her better, we asked her a couple of questions.

Why do you want to be an Au Pair?

-I decided to be an au pair because I’ve always enjoyed being around kids. I like the way they see things and I believe we have a lot to learn with them.

What are your hobbies and interests?

-I enjoy reading, watching tv shows and surfing on the internet as much as I love walking my dog, swimming and traveling!

What was the best event/happening during last month?

-Definitely, the day my visa was approved!

What place would you like to visit?

-I would love to visit New York!

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?

-I like to spend my Saturdays eating out, shopping or going to the movies.

What was the best compliment you have ever received?

-For me, the best compliment someone can receive is to have his or her work appreciated. It’s very gratifying.

We hope, Jessica’s au pair experience will be unforgettably cool and she will have a lot of great memories about her au pair year in the USA!

See you soon at our upcoming au pair cluster meeting, Jessica!

aupair excellence

Thanks so much to Host Families who submitted nominations, and congratulations to Au Pairs who were nominated in 2013.

Being nominated by your host family for the Au Pair of the Year is an honor in itself. It is great achievement you can be proud of and remember for years to come. Regardless of whether you win the official title or not, you are the best Au Pairs already. You are all winners already in the eyes of your families!

I like my aupair
