Hello my friends 🙂

My name is Gina, I am an Au Pair from Colombia and now I live in Philadelphia with my host family. It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Valeria Torres, Au Pair from Ecuador. I want to share with you her interview so that you can know more about Valeria.

Why do you want to be an Au Pair?

I want to be au pair because it is a great opportunity to improve my English and learn more about American culture and have a chance to see another country and beautiful places.

What are your hobbies and interests?

My hobbies are reading mystery books, listening to all kinds of music, doing sports. I really like football, and swimming too. I also like to go out to see several places with friends and go to the movies.

What was the best event/happening during last month?

Last month we celebrated with my family, at my aunts wedding and the christening of my cousins. We danced, played games, ate delicious food and everything was very beautiful.

What three adjectives best describe you?

I am very cheerful, kind and persevering person.

If you had one wish what would it be?

Travel around the world, see many places.

What place would you like to visit?

I would like to know all the possible places from the smallest to the largest, see all the beautiful things in Pennsylvania and Philadelphia

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?

Go for a walk somewhere with my family or my friends, share moments, enjoy the beautiful weather. I also like to be at home and do some activities like play, read, paint or cook.

What was the best compliment you have ever received?

The best gift they I got was when my grandmother gave me a rosary for my first communion.

What are two things that you consider yourself to be very good at?

I consider myself very good in sports or physical activities and in cooking.
