One more amazing au pair joining! Welcome Nafir!

Hey Guys, SUMMER IS ALMOST OVER!! 😦 I hope that you have taken full advantage of this season and you should be ready for a beautiful fall. It’s so excited to welcome a new member of our cluster: Nafir from Ecuador, she is 19 years old and she just arrived a few days ago.

Nafir decided to be an au pair because she studied pedagogy in languages ​​and she think that is important have a good English level, experience with children and she wants to know about American culture.

Nafir likes to know new places, make trips, visit museums and zoos, climb up mountains, go cycling, ride a horse, watch series and movies, spend time with her family, prepare desserts, make crafts and aerodance.

What was the best event/happening during last month? Well, the best event last month was when I finished my second semester very well, with good grades.

What are two things that you consider yourself to be very good at? I consider myself kind, generous and simple person

Welcoming Isa, an Au Pair from Colombia!

Zuly is an Au Pair from Colombia and she lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with an amazing host family with three lovey boys. Zuly has been an Au Pair in the US for almost 6 months and the post below is her first post on this blog!

Hi guys, My name is Zuly. I am very excited that summer is here… the weather is hot and everyone is gearing up for a great summer season. Let’s enjoy festivals, beach days and more!!

I also very happy to introduce to you our newest member, Isa Machado, who is also from Colombia. Isa joined the Go Au Pair Philadelphia cluster recently. Isa was able to answer some questions about what she hopes will be an amazing adventure as an Au Pair in the US. She is very excited to make new friends in our wonderful cluster. Isa also says, “I want to be an Au Pair because it is a great opportunity in my life. I want to work with children, know another culture and learn another language.”

Here are some of her responses to the questions: What are your hobbies and interests? My hobbies are going to the movies, to the gym, reading, walking and cooking.

What was the best event/happening during last month? Last month I went to an island with my dad in Santa Marta, Colombia. It was a beautiful experience.

What three adjectives best describe you? I describe myself as a sociable, funny and collaborative person.

If you had one wish what would it be? My wish is to know the whole world. What place would you like to visit? I would like to know America. Starting with the United States and museums of the twin towers.

What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday? My perfect way to spend a Saturday is watching movies and eating pizza, sometimes hanging out with my friends and my brother.
