In the beautiful Sunday morning, a big group of the Au Pairs from Go Au Pair volunteered with the American Cancer Society at the Philadelphia Marathon.
This was a great event, 160 k people attended the Philadelphia Marathon!
We helped with food serving at the finished line. Distributing the bags of snacks to every participant. When I handed a bag to them, I smiled to them too.
Every time, when I heard them said “Thank you” to me, my heart felt so warm.
My Au pairs friends and I were so proud of being volunteers at the Marathon.
We helped raise funds for the American Cancer Society and had a great opportunity to interact with many participants from different counties.
Also, Thanks our dear Local Area Representative Polina so much. She helped us contact with the Marathon organizers. Then we had this great chance to experience this cultural exchange event.
