Please read the beginning of my Au Pair adventure.
I finished all my applications and paperwork and became an Au Pair candidate with Go Au Pair. Then it was probably the hardest time because I don’t like to wait! Thanks God, I didn’t wait for that long and after 10 days host families started to contact me and i started to get the interviews on Skype. I worried a lot, read a lot of blogs, watched the videos of another Au Pairs stories.
I’m very confident person, but by that time I could not help my emotions. I had few interviews with very nice families, it was so funny because some families spoke Russian language, so it was easier for both sides to communicate.
Go Au Pair has a special Mutual Match process which is the best because I can choose my future host family. After 3 weeks I got a few offers and I should choose my future host family. It was super hard because all of them were very nice and friendly. Then I decided to listen my heart and I it was the best decision. I’m so happy and in love with my host family now!
After few weeks I had to go to American embassy and get my visa. It’s another hilarious story…lol. I got J1 Au Pair visa! and in 15 days I came to the USA as an Au Pair with Go Au Pair !!! I’m here so happy and in love with my host family and this beautiful country.
Oh yeah,Why that French croissants kind of changed my life :1-because if I wasn’t in that place and didn’t find out about this program from Andreev Andrei I wouldn’t be here!Thank you so much for that!
2-my flights to USA was :Kiev-Paris, Paris-Philadelphia. Again France and yeah I had another couple of croissants in Paris while waiting for my next flight ))
P.S.Never afraid to try something new, always explore, follow your dreams and have some croissants)
